Warranty for furniture is 2 years, if the manufacturer has not specified a longer warranty period.
If there are any quality claims during the warranty period, the seller will rectify them, provided that the operating conditions are observed and the purchase receipt is kept.
The details must be checked when opening the package. If a defect is found, the goods must not be assembled, the packaging must be kept and the seller must be notified.
In the event of furniture delivered disassembled and being assembled on site (or attempted to be assembled), the right of withdrawal does not apply, as once the furniture has been assembled, the furniture can be fully used for the purpose of purchase, but re-disassembly and/or assembly significantly reduces the quality of the furniture. Consequently, it is not possible to ensure the quality of the goods specified in Section 12, Part six of the Consumer Rights Protection Law by assembling and/or dismantling this furniture during the term of exercising the right of withdrawal.
IDmebeles.lv shall not take responsibility if:
- Damage to the goods has occurred due to the Customer's fault;
- Defects of the goods have arisen as a result of its use for unforeseen purposes;
- The goods has natural wear and tear under normal use;
- There are damages caused by incorrect assembly of the furniture, if the company's services have not been used; mechanical damages, as well as damages caused by the buyer transporting the furniture himself
In case the buyer refuses the order, the goods must meet the following conditions:
- No damage;
- Goods are in the original packaging in which they were delivered at the time of purchase
- The packaging must bear all original labels, safety films and other markings
If the above conditions are not met, the Customer loses the right to receive warranty services.
If defects are found in the goods, the Customer should contact Idmēbeles.lv with a request to assess the situation, which should mention:
- Order number;
- Customer's name and contact information;
- Information about the defect (where and when it was found or occurred) and, if possible, photographs clearly showing the defect of the goods;
- The Customer is entitled to claim a refund only if the replacement or repair of the goods/part thereof is not possible or has not succeeded.
